I love to spend time with these cute girls of mine! Ellie went grocery shopping with me one night this week and got a free sample cone from the store. I'm sure you can see how much she liked it. She finished it off with a chocolate mustache and beard.
We have a swing set behind our condo which is perfect to go outside for just a bit without making it a huge deal. This girl loves to swing and she loves to be wearing her princess dress!
Today we actually managed a walk to the park with some friends. Brooklyn just wanted to eat the bark! Yuck! She did have fun on the swings and slides too!
No matter how fun my day is though, I always look forward to evenings with Jordan. Once the girls are asleep, date night can begin. Lots of these date nights are math dates. I'm a math major, and Jordan is currently taking a few math classes for engineers. Both of us get a whole lot of teaching and learning in and I for one think I should be getting credits towards renewing my teaching license! Think the state education department would accept all these hours? :)
Sometimes Jordan gets done with his homework early enough that we throw in a movie or play a game together, and those nights are so nice.
Tonight's date will be tough to beat. We had the perfect date night of delicious smores in our fire place. I love having a fire place, and I LOVE smores! Nice to get to enjoy them together.
Now on to his math assignment.... Wish us luck!
